About the Team
The Riverton Mountain Biking Team is a member of the Utah High School Cycling League, which is an affiliate of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). We are a cross country mountain bike race team for high school and junior high students that live within the boundaries of Riverton High School. The team is organized as a club sport at Riverton High School and is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
The Riverton Mountain Biking Team welcomes riders of all skills and abilities. Each rider enjoys building camaraderie with their teammates and gaining confidence through participating in a challenging sport. Student athletes experience rides in beautiful venues throughout Utah all while building character and developing a life-long love of cycling.
All student athletes compete in races organized by the Utah High School Cycling League. Tryouts are not required. Participation requires a commitment to rigorous practices, properly maintaining equipment, developing fitness, and upholding NICA’s 5 Core Principles of Fun, Inclusivity, Equity, Respect, and Community.
